Join the Kent State Ashtabula community for Campus Kleanup on Thursday, October 2, 2025 starting at 9 a.m. and be part of a team effort to refresh and beautify our campus! This event is a great opportunity for students, faculty and staff to come together, roll up their sleeves and show pride in the place we all call home.
We鈥檒l kick off the day at the Mahan Reading Court outside the Stocker Hall Commons, where volunteers will help pull weeds, wash lower windows, paint tables and chairs, and spruce up this popular gathering spot. From there, teams will spread out to tackle other areas of campus, taking on projects like litter pickup, tidying walkways and other activities.
Campus Kleanup isn鈥檛 just about the work鈥攊t鈥檚 about building community. Student clubs and organizations are encouraged to sign up together and even join in a little friendly competition to see which group can bring the most volunteers. It鈥檚 a fun way to bond, make an impact and leave a lasting mark on the campus we all share.
Whether you can volunteer for an hour or the whole morning, your effort makes a difference. Help us create a cleaner, greener and more welcoming environment for everyone.
