Dr. John Gunstad is Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences and serves as Co-Director of both the KSU Student Life Study and the HERO Initiative. He obtained his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University and completed internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Brown Medical School.  Dr. Gunstad has more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to more than $75 million in externally funded projects.  His research has been featured on World News with Diane Sawyer and hundreds of print and digital news outlets. Dr. Gunstad is frequently asked to present on his research, including past talks at the NIH, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
