I joined Kent State in January 2019 after working as a digital content editor at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, where I aided the development and implementation of the digital strategy for the newspaper. Along with the daily maintenance of the website, I managed social media accounts for Ohio.com and developed best practices for the newsroom's staff.

I'm an alumna of Northwestern University, earning a master’s degree in sports administration, and Kent State, earning a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.

Kent State creates an environment that feels like home. As an undergrad, it was a place where I was able to learn and grow with a team of individuals who provided support and guidance whenever I needed it. Now as a member of the staff, I'm honored to be in a position where I can provide mentorship while also evolving in my own career.
