With stress levels on the rise and mental health being one of the most crucial issues in public health today, Kent State University is hosting the Brain Health Summit on Wednesday, Feb. 21, to share the importance of a healthy brain. The Kent State School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Media Law Center for Ethics and Access will host the fourth annual Media at the Movies on Tuesday, March 6. Join us for a viewing of “Nightcrawler”, followed by a discussion of media ethics. Kent State’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will honor Peter Bhatia, editor of the Detroit Free Press, with the 2018 Robert G. McGruder Distinguished Award for his accomplishments in media diversity. Bhatia will visit campus to present a lecture on media diversity and accept the award on Friday, March 2, 2018.
