Cheruvu, Ph.D., biostatistician in Kent State University鈥檚 College of Public Health, found that depression in some cancer survivors is linked to both care and financial concerns. In order to perform necessary maintenance on the boilers, steam transmission systems and electrical distribution systems, Kent State University's Power Plant will be shut down for one week in May. Shutdown begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, and remains until start-up begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21. As a result of the steam shutdown, most buildings located on campus will NOT have hot water to sinks and showers, etc. or air conditioning. The watch party at the Kent State Student Center Hub on March 17 celebrated Kent State men鈥檚 basketball team as they took on the UCLA Bruins in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
