
On Sept. 11, Bob Christy, senior photography coordinator, University Communications and Marketing, was walking through campus for an assignment when he looked up and saw these planes in formation flying over campus. He quickly readied his camera and captured these images.

The four, T-34 military trainer aircraft were part of a 9/11 tribute, flying out of Akron-Canton Airport, to honor those lives lost and the heroes that stepped forward on that tragic day, 24 years ago.
