Starting July 1, 2017, all Kent State University campuses will become smoke-free and tobacco-free. The new policy applies to all students, employees, volunteers, vendors, and visitors on all Kent State property locally and abroad. The policy is in alignment with the university鈥檚 healthy campus initiative. Kent State is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy learning, working and living environment for its students and employees. Kent State University鈥檚 current Police Academy cadets recently scored a collective 100 percent on their State of Ohio Physical Fitness Assessment.
