All are invited to come and honor America’s veterans as Kent State University holds its annual Veterans Day observance. This year’s program, “Honoring All Who Serve,” will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza. The Kent State University College of Public Health has received accreditation from the Board of Councilors of the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The fiveyear span is the maximum term the college could have achieved as a first-time applicant.  To earn the accreditation, the college met a set of rigorous quality standards in the areas of teaching, research, and service. Kent State University at Stark will host the annual Turkey Trot, an Adult 5K and a Kids’ ¼ Mile Fun Run, on Saturday, Nov. 21. The events will be held on Kent State Stark’s beautiful, 200-acre campus, located at 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration takes place on the day of the event, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The fee is $5 per person and may be paid on the day of the event.
