This office offers a safe, informal and confidential space to talk through workplace challenges, explore strategies and consider solutions. Our services are available to faculty and staff on every Kent State campus.

  • The Talent Management team is offering a series of hands-on workshops on career development this fall. These one hour workshops are designed to teach learners how to AI-proof their resumes, optimize their LinkedIn profiles, improve their understanding of the hiring process and to take charge of their professional development. First up, join us for Is Your Resume AI and ATS Ready? on Sept. 17. For more information or to request other topics, contact LT Myers, director of Talent Management at 330-672-JOBS.

  • "I give to the United Way because, while volunteering, I’ve listened to and spoken with people who have received help. When you hear a person describe their struggle to survive and they get a blanket to keep them warm, or food to get them through that day it has a profound impact. That I can be even a small part of giving time, food, or money makes me feel like I’m part of a true community of care and compassion." - Todd Kamenash, associate dean of students, conduct and community engagement.

  • Harvest Vintage Market is coming to downtown Kent on Sept. 20 from noon – 6 p.m. Featuring 25+ vendors along Erie Street, this event is sure to host hundreds of visitors. Erie Street will be closed from Fresco to Tree City Coffee (drive-thru) from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. No food vendors will be present, so be sure to support local restaurants and cafés while you shop. Help us spread the word and plan to check out Harvest Vintage Market.
