Events

The Office of Research Development sponsors and co-sponsors workshops, forums, and brown bags to provide guidance, information, and professional development opportunities for the Kent State community.

Webinars and Brown Bags

Ideas for a workshop, brownbag, seminar? We work closely with the University library, Information Technology, Corporate Engagement, Foundation Relations, and Technology Commercialization – let us know what you would like to learn more about and we will set it up! Contact the Division of Research and Economic Development with suggestions.

Research and Innovation Forums

Forums are a great way to learn about the innovative research conducted at Kent State. Held twice per semester, the forum is designed for three speakers from diverse areas to present for 15 minutes, demonstrating the breadth of research/scholarship at the university. Forums are followed by a reception to encourage the development of collaborative ideas.

The Research and Innovation Forums are currently on hiatus.
